1. Scope and current shop status

This policy explains how Pinned By Sophie handles information in connection with this website. The current site is a shop preview. It does not accept online orders, collect payments, or provide a customer registration form. We will update this policy as needed before introducing new data collection or payment services.

2. Information used by the current website

• Your saved bag: the website uses browser local storage to remember selected products, quantities, finishes, colors, and custom wording you add to your bag. This information stays in that browser unless you clear it; the current shop code does not send the bag to us or a payment processor.
• Preview choices: searches, filters, and unadded customization choices are used in the page to display the requested previews. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into custom wording.
• Technical information: hosting and infrastructure providers may process information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and access times to deliver and secure the website.
• Fonts: the website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to retrieve them, which can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details to Google.
• Direct communications: if you contact us outside this preview, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact information, and message.

3. When online ordering becomes available

To process an order, we may need your name, email address, delivery and billing details, purchased items, personalization instructions, and order communications. Payment details will be handled through the payment provider identified at checkout. Payments are not connected in the current preview. Any provider-specific disclosures will be added when the actual checkout is configured.

4. How information is used and disclosed

We use information to operate and protect the website, remember your bag, respond to inquiries, and, when ordering is enabled, process payments, fulfill orders, provide customer service, and maintain required business records.

We may disclose information needed by providers performing these services, such as hosting, payment processing, delivery, and order communications. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, or legal claims. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Local storage, cookies, and your choices

The shop uses local storage for the saved bag rather than an advertising tracker. You can remove saved bag information by clearing this website’s stored data in your browser settings. Doing so removes your saved selections. The current shop code does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics tools. Hosting, sign-in, and infrastructure services may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their respective policies.

6. Retention and security

Saved bag information remains in your browser until it is changed or cleared. Information you send to us is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including applicable recordkeeping requirements and resolving disputes. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Privacy requests and children

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or exercise other privacy rights. We will respond to applicable requests as required by law and may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. You can independently clear browser-stored bag information as described above.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.

8. Third-party services

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy policies. This site is hosted by Cloudflare. You can review Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy for their respective practices.

9. Updates and contact

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making a material change in how information is used.
